Wilson Reading System (WRS) is a phonetic based program designed for student's reading below grade level. I am Level I Certified Wilson Instructor.
In class, an interactive notebook/binder is completed with each student. These notebooks/binders will not be graded, while the intent is for it to be a resource to each student if/when needed, while developing decoding, encoding, and fluency skills.
This year we will be working on developing reading and spelling skills, as well as generalizing these skills into writing.
For students who participate, this is a graded class. Homework WILL be assigned.

- Writing Prompts (generalizing skills into writing)

Other writing activities, such as pen pals & letters to Armed Forces, etc... will be incorporated into this class.
